Persistent Issues with the Development of Halal Tourism in North Sumatera

The present study aims to uncover the problems, aspects, solutions and strategies of halal travel tourism in North Sumatera, Indonesia. This employs Analytic Network Process (ANP) methods three steps, first, problem decomposition, pair-wise comparison questionnaire, synthesis analysis. ANP also used gather opinion responses from experts. From this study, it was found that problems improving based on their level significance are as follows: Environment, Access Services, Communication. Meanwhile, priority aspects improve environment, access, services, communication. Similar services In addition, top recommended ecosystem, destination, accessibility connectivity. findings furnished with some recommendation industry perspective stakeholders tourism.
